Hardware Technician

What you'll do

As a Hardware Technician, you will be part of a small, dynamic team that builds, tests, and maintains advanced VR and AR training systems used by first responders worldwide. You will take ownership of hardware assembly, testing, and maintenance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and processes.

Your main tasks include:

• Assemble and maintain VR/AR hardware systems used in our training platforms.
• Support hardware engineers in production, validation, and maintenance of electronic and mechanical components.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure performance, reliability, and quality.
• Manage hardware logistics from component inventories and hardware orders to test documentation.
• Contribute ideas to improve product quality, assembly efficiency, and technical workflows.

You’ll be actively involved in:

• Hardware production and assembly
• System testing and validation
• Maintenance and final product preparation
• Hardware logistics and administration

Requirements

• Completed MBO degree (or higher) in a technical field such as Mechatronics, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar technical role.
• Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and team spirit.
• Technical curiosity and eagerness to learn about VR/AR technologies.
