Inside Sales Engineer

The Proposals & Contracts department plays a crucial role in the overall project development process. This multidisciplinary team is essential for both the commercial and technical aspects of the project. Their primary responsibility is to build a solid foundation for project execution. This department handles various tasks, including providing technical and commercial expertise and managing project administration.

 
We are currently seeking a Inside Sales Engineer for this department working for the business line Field Products & Services (FIPS).

 
Pipeline cleaning is a vital aspect of the integrity management of pipeline networks and is necessary at every stage throughout the lifecycle of any pipeline. Failure to clean a pipeline at regular intervals leads to reduced efficiency and may result in damages that impacts its useful lifespan. FIPS offers a broad spectrum of pipeline cleaning solutions built on more than three decades of experience – experience gained working together with the clients on countless pipeline projects.

 
As Inside Sales Engineer you will work closely with sales managers and commercial specialists with the aim of accurately informing and advising customers and securing contracts. Certainly, an internal training session will be provided to become familiar with our techniques and applications.

 
Your responsibilities are designing and evaluating technical solutions by:

• Provide expert advice to the sales team regarding the tool selection and preparation based on the object information and the project needs.
• Develop customized tool configurations while considering project-specific requirements.
• Gathering information and feedback from the client regarding tool performance and identify improvement.
• Collaborate with clients to troubleshoot and resolve tool-related performance issues.

 
To be successful in this role, it is important that you have an eye for detail, are not afraid of deadlines, and possess strong communication and social skills. Additionally, you should be able to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and serve as a coordinator, organizer, and service provider, playing a crucial role in the sales team and often being the first point of contact within the organization.
