Mecal’s expert employees translate the latest findings from R &D into practical solutions that help reduce energy costs. Examples are innovative solutions such as the hybrid wind tower from ATS, one of Mecal’s subsidiaries, and complete turbine developments.
They are based in Enschede, but Mecal also has branches in Groningen, Eindhoven, Denmark, the USA, China and Japan. They have 130 employees in total. From development to production, Mecal does everything by themselves.
Project software engineers and design engineers, among others, have been working in cooperation with knowledge institutions and universities for more than 20 years to generate energy in a sustainable and technologically advanced way.
