This is a issue to the food industry, resulting in 10% of all CO2 emissions, and uses up 25% of all our fresh water. Used on food that is not consumed.

OneThird has developed a method to predict shelf-life of fresh produce.

We're using an AI-based infra-red scanner together with smart phone imaging and a smart data information platform. 

This gives real-time decision power to growers, distributors and retailers to get the right product to the right place at the right time.

Resulting in increasing efficiencies, saving millions of euros and preventing > 1/3 of their food waste. Our goal is to save 150mkg of food waste by 2027!
