Hardware Engineer

Are you into tinkering with a mix of hard- and software? Are you ready to work on national security challenges?

Critical components of the hardware stack of RE-liON are in-house developed while production is outsourced. Your experience in mechatronics, prototyping and design will accelerate their mission: prepare those who protect them for handling stressful situations by fusing immersive technology, wearables and data.


What you'll do

• Work in a multi-national team of hardware engineers;
• End-to-end involvement from design, prototype and build to support of these critical components deployed at our customers;
• Research and test new technology;
• Improve performance and functionality.
• Support sourcing of parts;
• Outsource production to trusted external suppliers;
• Interface with our cross-functional engineering teams to get things done.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Product Design or similar;
• At least 5 years of relevant experience with a proven track record;
• Team-player, self-motivated, driven and organized Problem solving mentality and continuously striving for improvement;
• Able to communicate in English both written and verbally.

Nice to have

• Defense/police/fire services background or affinity;
• Technical knowledge of firearms.
