Project Assurance Analyst

We’re pleased to present the opportunity to join Urenco as a Project Assurance Analyst. Based at our Almelo, Netherlands site location, you’ll provide and enhance Urenco’s project assurance capabilities across a global footprint stretching over four operational sites and a number of business activities. Embedded within Design Authority the Project Assurance function provides assurance in the delivery of capital projects.

The role of Project Assurance Analyst is to assist the Project Assurance Specialist to carry out the annual assurance plan, contribute to continuous improvement throughout the organization, serve as a governance subject matter expert in terms of capital project delivery and help to promote industry leading practice of the delivery of capital projects.

What will your day look like?

• Actively promote a pro-active safety culture throughout the project lifecycle and across the organization
• Working with Project Assurance Specialist, provide input into the development of the annual assurance plan
• Maintaining working papers and documentation which lead to conclusions and underpins reports to various levels of management from business unit to C-Suite executives.
• Autonomously write reports for consumption of key project stakeholders, managers of business lines, and executive consumption
• Contribute to capturing of KPIs in order to track general project delivery trends
• Maintain personal, functional, and organisational independence and objectivity
• Assurance action tracker analysis to develop thematic focus on assurance activities
• Trending analysis in preparation for reviews

What do you need to be great at this role?

• A degree or equivalent in a technical or numerical subject
• Special consideration given for degree in project management, construction management, or other related field.
• Individuals with an appropriate degree and PMI, APM, Prince 2, or other related project controls, project management, construction management, or audit or assurance qualification will be shown a higher interest.
• Understanding of:
• Project delivery and the project lifecycle
• Project controls as related to delivery of capital projects
• Various contract types
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a previous project controls, project consultancy, project delivery, or assurance role.
• Experience with assessing and mitigating project risk, and the risk management process.
• Experience working with multi-discipline and preferably multi-cultural teams.
• Experience presenting to senior audiences and stakeholders.
