They optimise the blades in collaboration with their sister company in India. Both the technology and the material are extensively tested in the laboratory in Hengelo in collaboration with academics and fine-tuned through advanced software.
Suzlon employs engineers who specialise in designing the blades and in the cooperation of the blades with the other parts of wind turbines, as well as engineers who optimise the production. The latter (also) work closely with the Suzlon site in India, where the blades are produced.
The company also employs employees as project managers.
