What does a business analyst do?

As a business analyst you support our company in setting up and improving business performance and processes. In addition, you function as the link between the stakeholders of our company and the operational employees of the various departments.

The goal of a business analyst is to improve our organization's business operations by using relevant data and employing tools and techniques that can translate collected data into valuable insights to monitor and steer our organization.

Description

The Business Analyst is to determine performance indicators for various business cases and to standardize the regional management reporting according to the group’s reporting standards.

In close collaboration with the Advisory team and the Company Business Analysts, the Business Analyst consults the management by reaching the regional goals and improving the performance.

Independent assessment and access to data from process and convert in a structurally sustainable usable dashboard.

Analyze business processes, information flows and convert them into useful information.

Provide insights into the activities of all departments of our company.

Ingenuity for producing innovative and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and consolidating analyzing needs together with the local management or Company Business Analyze.
• Determination, creation and reporting of key and process performance indicators.
• Develop, build, and maintain a reporting infrastructure with Business Intelligence solutions (MS Power BI).
• Supporting and consulting business partners in terms of analysis and improvement of business and process performance.
• Identifying weaknesses and optimize data structures for reporting framework.
• Conduct Analysis of special projects as directed by the regional management.

A high level of understanding about the organization, its products & services,

and the business is required, additionally to:

• Highly analytical and conceptual thinking
• Being able to act in an innovative way to develop creative ideas;
• Work well in a team and being able to influence others.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• MS Office, in particular MS Excel, MS Power BI
• Database and SQL knowledge advantageous
