Summary
The position will provide helpdesk support and desktop administration by analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues relating to desktop hardware and software in a Windows environment. The position requires strong communication, customer service, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate must be able to work well in a global-team-centered fast-paced and growing environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day helpdesk duties such as:
- Receive and respond to incoming helpdesk tickets, calls, and e-mails regarding desktop hardware, operating system, and application software problems
- Effectively communicate and work well with the local business, team members, and 3rd party vendors
- Install, upgrade, and configure desktop PC hardware and software
- Provide user orientation on hardware, software, and network operations
- Accurately document instances of desktop equipment or component failure, repair, installation, and removal.
- Create and Manage User Accounts and Group memberships
- Follow asset inventory management guidelines and software licensing compliance.
- Ensure all Sarbanes Oxley documentation is maintained.
- Assist with driving the standardization of the Service Desk
- Develop and maintain Lean and ITIL procedures
Other duties as assigned.
