Manager Finance & Control

NX Filtration is growing fast and is significantly expanding its organization. This growth path requires robust accounting and control processes. The Manager Finance and Control is responsible for the following:

• Manage, supervise and support the finance and control team
• Lead and supervise the monthly, semi-annual and annual closings, reporting and analysis
• Ensure accurate and timely group accounting, reporting and consolidation
• Ensure fully compliant external reporting (annual report) based on IFRS in a listed environment
• Lead and supervise the annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Manage cost control process with the budget owners and project cost control for capital expenditure
• Lead and supervise General ledger accounting, reconciliations and cash flows
• Lead and supervise AR and AP to ensure timely collection of credits and payments of invoices
• Further develop and strengthen the company’s Internal Control Framework
• Continuously optimizing processes and substantially enhance the efficiency, accuracy and transparency of the finance and control function
• Develop business insights through PowerBi
• Manage (credit) insurance portfolio
• Work closely with IT department / service provider
• Main point of contact for our global partners that are managing the foreign legal entities
• Main point of contact for relevant external parties such as auditor, (credit) insurance, tax office, banking, etc.

For NX Filtration, we are looking for a Manager Finance and Control who is hands-on, ambitious and result driven. Further, you meet the following criteria:

• You are self-starting, energetic and a team player who communicates well
• (Post) master’s degree in finance / controlling (RA/RC is a big plus)
• At least 6 years of relevant experience, preferably Big4
• Demonstrated experience with preparing and delivering external reports based on Dutch GAAP and IFRS
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills. A data driven mindset
• A natural drive to deeply understand the company’s primary processes and translate them to the finance and control work field
• Zero appetite for non-compliance and missing (reporting) deadlines
• (more than) Excellent skills in relevant office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
• Strong communication and presentation skills in both Dutch and English language

Due to the growth of NX Filtration, we are looking for a Manager Finance & Control. This is a new position within the organization. In this role you will report directly to our CFO. We are looking for a strong personality who is able to manage and guide the Finance and Control department to the next level.
