AMMON initiates business development and launches innovation programmes for and by the manufacturing industry in and outside Twente. This approach is based on market insight and fully led by the industry. The goal is to increase the power of innovation through far-reaching cooperation and full focus on the (end)customer to achieve great things for a sustainable future.
Companies often have a limited understanding of business development and technology areas due to the hustle and bustle of business and the daily issues. However, they can be of great added value. That is why AMMON trains, helps and facilitates numerous industrial companies in and outside Twente to accelerate and broaden the required business development. Forces are combined into consortia. Together, they take the necessary steps from product development to system realisation. After all, many technologies and techniques are being integrated, partly because of Industry 4.0 and the ‘Internet of Things’.
Within AMMON, cooperation is about finding common ground. This can be achieved by combining content and mutual trust. This approach has been a successful foundation for new projects, products and long-term commitments, scouting new technologies and techniques, functioning as a sounding board for business cases and organising new, sustainable value chains. Companies, as well as local, regional and national authorities, are essential launching customers and sparring partners.
AMMON focuses on building ecosystems that do not only yield new products and integrated systems. They must, above all, lead to a new way of thinking and working in the manufacturing industry. Innovation can be achieved together by sharing knowledge and expertise. In this way, numerous technological innovations are a part of the growing industrial infrastructure that is being set up and expanded in the manufacturing industry in and outside Twente.
For companies in the manufacturing industry, inventors, thinkers and doers. Using existing knowledge and expertise to create new products, services and opportunities.
