Sustainability in aviation

Aviation must reinvent itself in order to be climate neutral by 2050. This requires innovations in all aspects of aviation and calls for extensive experimentation, training and testing programs. Major steps must be taken within ten years to make aviation more sustainable.

You will hear during the Campus Café on Tuesday 6 December how far we have come in the Netherlands and Twente in making aviation more sustainable and whether we will be able to fly the whole family to the Canary Islands electrically in 10 years’ time.

The program will be updated in the coming weeks, but at least the topics that will be discussed are TPRC’s research projects and Twente Airport as a breeding ground for sustainable aviation.
